What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have been in this town since 2016;in 2017 I got sick and came down with an illness that has eating every little cent I have. I go from hospital to hospital, but nothing seems working out for my healing. I have my little daughter who I want to send to school to represent me for tomorrow; I can't do this because of the sickness. I want to engage into business and build a house of my own, but nothing is working out for me. This sickness is a total set back. Any way, I am not given up on my plans, because I know there is a tomorrow for me. When I get some of this money,my first plan is to seek medical attention ; second get into business and pay my daughter school fees. The business will now generate profit to help me build a house. These are my plans.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have no peace of mind since I got sick in 2017. Every time I wake up and see my business going down it really pains me.I am a moving woman, but to see myself tie down it is not easy. All along I am happy. I think about my sickness and my little daughter how will her education be. I am glad finally that I can smile again with a great hope. I am certain that Give Directly visit will turn things around for my good .I will get money and take treatment and be well for life. Today mark a happy day to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have a serious situation that I will need money to handle. I got sick 2017, but before my illness I was a very big business woman who sells from market ground to market ground. When I got attack by this sickness, everything I had went down the dream. I am out of cash; no money to attend to my medical bills at the same time build a house and pay school fees. My major concern now is getting the money and addressing the problem one by one. So as soon I get this transfer I am going to take portion of it for my medical bills, portion for school fees and the balance is kept for the business when I get well.
