Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to purchase a bed that is after I have cleared my children's school fees balance. I desire to give my children the best as far as education is concerned because I never had the privilege to enjoy it. Once they are in school then I can focus on other personal agendas which are not a priority for now.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My life is currently different than it would have been if I had never received the transfers. Before I never had any reliable source of income unlike at the moment where I am running on of the most promising business with a good profit margin. From it, I can feed my family, pay school fees for my children and also make a good saving at the end of every day. This can ease my wife who has been running up and down to ensure we are feed and our children are attending school.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am hoping to have cleared my children's school fees. I am not able to work because I am disabled I have a leg. Most of the time my wife does everything for us. Since GD came in the picture I have been trying to use my transfers to assist as much as I can to ease the burden she carries.

I am planning to procure farming inputs which include seeds and fertilizer since my intention is to plant subsistence crops mainly to help me feed my family. Food has been the main challenge and the only to drive away this menace is by planting more crops to cater to the needs of the family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest differences in my daily life for the past four months is that I have been able to pay school fees for my children. I am a disabled person and therefore raising money to pay for my children has been a challenge that I won’t wish anyone to go through. Currently, they are having ample time in school studying just like the rest of their colleagues. I also bought them clothes, bags, and shoes. They are currently dressed decently and this is really giving me joy.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Six months to come, I expect to build a house for my boys. They are currently living with us since I have not built them theirs. It is really a shame to do this but my expectation are very high that I will accomplish this goal. I also expect to have bought them bed, beddings and even lit their house so that they can live and study well.

I have been able to enroll my children in an academy school this year. Due to this, their performance has greatly improved compared to when they were in public school since the teachers are more committed in their work. All this has been possible due to GiveDirectly's support and I can now proudly say that this makes my current life different from how it was four months ago.

The new goal for my life for the next four months is to buy a battery and a solar panel for lighting purposes in our house. This will be beneficial to my children since they will be able to study in the evening until their preferred time. The security around our house at night will also be enhanced since thieves usually shy away from invading houses which have their security lights on at night since the compound is well lit.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am a person living with disabilities and I cannot do some casual work, for instance, going to the farm. Due to this, my wife has been the breadwinner to our family. Recently, her mother fell sick and she had to go back to her maternal home so that she can attend to her. For this period, I have been the one to cater for all my family needs and in paying school fees for my children. My transfers have come in handy as I use it to pay school fees for my children and in buying food for the family. Being able to provide for my family basic needs on time despite the fact that the only work I can do is to look after the livestock is the biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have connected a solar in my house. This will enhance our security as my compound will be well lit at night. My family will also be feeding well as I will be using part of my transfers to employ some workers to help me with the farm work.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I was able to enrol my children in a boarding school. They now have time to study efficiently and perform well, since they no longer have to spend too much time on the way walking for long distances to school and back. The school they used to go to was far away from our home. I am physically disabled whereby I lost one of my lower limbs. I depend on farm jobs to support my family. My wife also does casual farm jobs in the village. I have always wanted my children to study well but I never had the means to take them to a better school. I am grateful to Give Directly that my children can now concentrate well on their education in their new school, and I can sleep comfortably on the new mattress that I bought with the transfers.
