Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I plan to expand the tea farming and acquire more farms where I can venture into the same. This way I will increase my revenue when harvesting season comes.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in the past four months is that I have been able to purchase a cow. This way I will save on buying milk and I can also earn income from selling the milk. I have also been able to start tea farming. I paid workers who help me weed the tea to allow it to grow well. When looking back from where I have come from before the transfers I see a big transformation that would not have happened so quickly if it were not to GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to purchase a motorcycle. I have desired to own a motorcycle, one that I can use to do the taxi business. By so doing I will increase the amount of income that I receive monthly besides that I will also become mobile.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
At the moment, I do not have any new goal in the next four months since I am currently contributing most of my monthly transfers to merry go round. My turn to receive the lump sum amount will be next year in the month of May. I already have what I will spend on the money I will receive
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Having completed my studies last year, I had one goal of constructing a new house for sleeping since I used to sleep in a granary. I am happy that I achieved that and now sleeping in a safe and conducive house. I no longer worry about heavy rains that used to leak in the granary where I used to sleep. In the last four months, I decided to focus on my looks and so resulted to purchasing new decent clothes as compared to the ones I used to put them on before. Currently, I no longer shy away from meeting my friends as well as going on visits
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is that my life will have changed. I believe I will have purchased a dairy cow which has always been my dream. I also hope that by them, I will be more independent such that I will no longer rely on my parents in most of my needs

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months in that I am an empowered young guy who can currently depend on himself for both basic needs and other financial needs. With the monthly transfer, I receive from GiveDirectly I have been able to invest them in farming making use idle land resource that we had but could not cultivate due to lack of money. I have access my basic needs with eas unlike before and the most of all is the better shelter that I currently have after using the lump sum money I received from a merry go round group I joined when I started receiving money from GD.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, the new goal that I have for my life is to buy a heifer. I have built a house and I have no asset of my own hence buying a heifer can be affordable for me and will grow on time and reproduce hence improving my worthiness and always gain more financial stability.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I completed my secondary school recently and I haven't really picked up to the life outside school. Although I am grown up, I still depend on my mother for most of my needs. Due to the scarce resources in our family, I had been forced to spend my night in our granary since my mother wasn't in a position to build me a better house. It was hard living in here with a lot of coldness of the night and lack of confidence in introducing anyone in my place. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the house that I built. I am so happy that I have a warm, decent and spacious house that I am so proud of. I am grateful has but at a level of my fellow youths in the society and proud of my self and thankful to GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in the next six months in that I will have bought a heifer hence will have an asset unlike now I have none. I expect to have harvested I cabbages hence will have money to help me join a technical training college to learn some skills that will, later on, help in life to earn a living.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life currently is different from how it was four months ago since I have been able to plant some tea seedlings in my farm. All this was possible since I used my recent transfers to achieve this.

At the moment, I do not have any new goal for the next four months since I want to concentrate in planting more tea seedlings in my farm.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding my current transfer is that I am now a happier as compared to before. This is because I have been able to plant some tea seedlings. This always makes me happy since I know that very soon I will start earning some money on monthly basis from the sale of my tea.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have planted more tea seedlings. I will be able to achieve this through the use of my transfer. This will make me earn money on monthly basis which I will be able to use them to support my family.

The new goals that I have developed since I started receiving the transfer are joining a merry go round, building a new house and starting poultry farming.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it would have been if I had not received the transfer since the transfer has given me power and ability to work. With the transfer I feel my goal of starting poultry farming is going to happen.I can currently afford basic needs unlike before when I had to rely on my parents.

In the next six months I expect to have build my house. I expect to have developed my poultry farming goal.Even thought tea leaves nursery that I am going to prepare will not have given me any income, I will be able to see good progress with the project in the next six months.This is an indicator of a good life to come for me in the future.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving the transfer include the empowerment I have gained.I currently feel able and have financial power to do some work in my life. The transfer has made my life easier in that I can get a monthly income which can be a capital unlike before when I had to go for hard and less paying casual job trying to get money.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is doing Kenya National Examination counsil exams. They are really tough.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the my day is in the morning when I wake up and I am feeling well. From there I know I can do my days tasks well.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to my transfer in paying my college fees since I cleared my form four last year.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The biggest achievement I am proudest of managing to clear my secondary school. Now I can further my education in college.
