How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to plaster my house floors and reroof my house. My house roof is now leaking. I want to change the house roof from thacth to zinc. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. Givedirectly cash support will forever be remember by me. I believe that with my transfer, I am going to live in a decent house in this village.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly has really help the needy with cash in this village. Givedirectly has made everyone in this village to start thinking about building strong houses . Few months from now, there will be more zincs houses plaster with concrete cements than thacth houses plastered with dirt. Thanks to Givedirectly every thing they have done. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my most recent to buy 13 bags of cements to start plastering my house floor. I also purchased 2 gallons of gasoline and paid one power saw owner to saw 35 pieces of planks for my house roof. Thanks to Givedirectly empowering me financially. I believe that with my transfer, my planned to upgrade my house will soon come to pass.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sitting infront of my house when my first transfer came to my phone unexpectedly. I shouted in a loud voice, GiveDirectly has done it for me. Atleast my house build with thatch roof will no longer leak over me. My house has been leaking for the past one year. I am a farmer, but farming involved too much hard labor with low income. I have tried to generate money to buy zinc but I am not succeeding due to lack of money. I am over joyed for the good gesture Givedirectly did for me. I believe that with this transfer, I will own a very decent house in this village.
