How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed,This money enabled me clear my tuition which has made me more confortable at school. I have now bought a bed, good mattress and I sleep well. I also dress well on expensive, nice looking clothes. Before I got the transfer I slept on a suck with grass. I was not confortable at school because the school was always demading me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me money that helped me pay my tuition. I now have a brighter future, there is nothing they are doing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying plastic chairs at UGX 100,000, a bag of groundnut seeds. I paid school fees of UGX 421,000, UGX 500,000 for industrial training. I save UGX 300,000. I gave my mother UGX 212,000 for buying timber for constructing her house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I sleep in good beddings, I dress well and I have got my live stock now which will help me in future.

The moment I receive the transfer I got overwhemled with joy and I could not sleep again, I went drinking the next day as part of my celebration.

I spent my first transfer on purchase of a cow 818,000ugx, a goat at 138,000ugx, 2 turkeys at 100,000ugx, clothes, curtains, 1 pair of bedsheets, a mattress 125,000ugx, food at100,000ugx. I gave my sister 50,000ugx and hired a garden 100,000ugx.

Receiving this money means investing in buying land for farming. This will assist in expanding on my households' level of agricultural production.
