How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My current situation is different in that I have finished building my house. This has made my lifestyle easy in terms of renovating the house and comfort as compared to before where I had to buy grass every year. When there is no money to renovate the grass thatched house, my family and I could sleep in a leaking house with great discomfort as the beds get wet during the rainny season.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by helping me with money that has relieved me from buying grass as I have constructed my iron roofed house. On the other hand, GiveDirectly has done absolutely nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all my second transfer Ugx 1632000 to buy building materials such as cement, sand, bricks, timber, ironsheets, nails among others and paying for labor that constructed my house.
