How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The only thing that is really bothering and giving me sleepless night That I am dealing with right now is to see myself in a new structure the upcoming year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am grateful to God first and to GiveDirectly for their support and I recommend that they continue to this great job by giving us money freely without asking us for anything and it is really changing our lives.

My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to build new house for me and my family.

In my mind GiveDirectly is doing well for me and my family because they are helping me with money to build new house for me and my family to live in. I have not observed anything that GiveDirectly is not doing well.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer I was happy because this money will help me buy my zinc to build my house.

The biggest difference in my life now is that, this money will enable me to change my thatch house to zinc house for my self.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My husband left me with 4 children and ran away to bong county. Since he left life has been difficult for me. My children and I live in an old thatch house.
I want to build a new house for my children and I. The house we live in presently leaked a lot.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I saw people from Gbortoe town jubilating about them receiving cash from GiveDirectly, I was so happy. I knew one day my time will come. And thank God today is my day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The leaking of my house is my greatest challenge. Especially this rainy season, I'm worried about the life of my life. We don't have home to depend on.
