Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I went on gun hunting, the place I usually go every morning. Tired and exhausted, while coming home, I heard a loud noise coming from my town. People were jubilating and shouting on top of theirs voices. So I ran to ask what was unfolding and they told me that the money has surfaced. With no delay, I hurriedly ran to where our network is to check my mobile money account and there the money was. I felt relieve and deep down, an unexplainable joy filled my heart.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is when my business collapsed, I had no finance to substain. The profit generated from my business at that time was used to paid my four children school fees. So when it was no more, I worried about feeding and providing basic needs for my family. Now, I worry no more because the full transfers promised by Givedirectly is indisputable/sure.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used ten thousand on my four children(2boys and 2girls) balance tuitions in a Government school. I'm saving the balance twenty thousands to add to the next transfer to buy a quality zinc that is worth twenty-five thousands so the project can begin.
