Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The greatest change in my daily life is happiness and pride for I have managed to get back my land which I farm on peacefully since I paid off all the debts acquired through it. Secondly I'm so glad that I now have a cow that in the near future will produce and multiply therefore each time I look at this cow, it reminds me of GiveDirectly how it has uplifted me from a sorrow state to what I'm now.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was too happy the moment I received this money because I did not receive mine with the rest of the recipients. They received first before me and I was scared that I may not benefit from the program.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer On paying off land mortgage which I acquire for my dad's funeral. I also bought a cow with this transfer that will reproduce in future.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house. I have a grassthatched house but maintaining it not easy. Grass is so scarce and hard to find.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the morning when my children are healthy. This gives me the opportunity to spend the little money that I earn in other fields as opposed to taking care of medical bills.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money. I have always wanted to build an iron roofed house but I don't have money to do so. I depend on casual labour which earns me only little money. All that I am able to earn goes into the provision of basic needs for the family. I can not save and do anything bigger.
