Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I currently do not have any new goal other than ensuring the construction of the new house is done. I am therefore planning to gear all my resources towards the project to see it to its completion.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to start constructing a new and bigger house for my household members. This has been my desire given that my family is growing bigger and the house we currently live in is tiny and uncomfortable. GD made this dream come to life and I am a happy man.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am hoping that my life will have changed, I will have completed constructing the house and started saving for my children's school fees. I would wish to give them the best education that I never had.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it would have been four months ago in that I have always been able to provide school fees for my children. This has been one of my greatest weakness as a parent because I do not pay their arrears in time. They are always being sent home on a monthly basis which has really affected their performance in school. For them to have a better future and get well-paying jobs, they need to do better in school work. Performance can only improve when they get humble time to study. I failed in this area until I started receiving these transfers from GD. I have been paying for their arrears on a monthly basis which has helped reduce the rate at which they are sent home. Since the beginning of the third term, they have not been sent home because of the arrears.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have a new goal of plastering the house. I have used my transfers to buy three bags of cement already. I am currently looking forward to using my next transfers to buy sand. I plan to use the materials in plastering my house so that I can make it strong and durable for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have a new iron-roofed house. I have been living in a two-roomed house for the last two years. Since my family has been growing, we needed more space to accommodate us well. As a result, I thought of building a bigger house than the one I had. I knew that was the only way I could solve the issue once and for all. Because I did not have the resources, I was still putting up in the house I had. GD transfers has helped me put up a three-roomed house. I used the transfers to buy building materials such as iron sheets, timber and nails for putting up a new house. Right now, I do not feel the pressure I had of providing accommodation for my family. Thanks to GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will be having a cereals business. After plastering my house, I want to save my monthly transfers in a table banking group and use the savings to start a cereal business. I would want to boost my income so that I keep providing for my family as I have done since I started receiving the transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been able to cement the exterior parts of my house within the last four months and right now my house looks so presentable. These are some of the things that i desired to do in the past but due to financial resources, it has always been quite hard to achieve them.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to make savings every month of maybe two thousands shillings. The main reason for making the savings is to enable me start a small scale business of stocking maize and re-selling them during periods when the prices rise significantly. By doing this, I know that I will be able to get some profits which definitely improve our lifestyle and living standards.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The money has really helped me because I recently built a new house using the transfers that I have been getting from GD. I had been accumulating new irons sheets every single month and finally I managed to build a new spacious house. The problem with the structure I used to stay in previously was that it was very small compared to my large family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I plan to expand the size of my business with time so that I can generate more profits for me and then from there I will be in a position to establish whet I want to do next with the proceeds that I shall have generated from the business.

How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to start a small scale business where I will be buying maize from suppliers and later re-sell to our local people in the community. This business will also generate profits for me that will be able to sustain me financially moving into the future.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of income since the casual jobs do not offer sufficient returns. There is one night that i almost lost my baby to an acute stomach problem because i had no money to hire a motor bike to drop him to the hospital.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am usually happy in the morning because most of our casual jobs are in the morning, so working with other peers creates great joy as it offers opportunity to bring home food to my wife and children.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on opening a cereal business. It is one kind of a business that would not miss to have daily customers. The current situation of engaging in casual labour is not guaranteed because at times when I fail to get the jobs, it can mean even going without meals at home with the young children.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was two years ago when I saved from the casual wages and managed to build my own home which is spacious enough that shall enable me start other farming business like poultry keeping in future.
