How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I still have my first goal in action, I do not have a new goal for this third transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does well by sending our money directly to us and not through someone who will eat some of it. They have not done any bad as far as I know.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought twenty five gallons of gas for my coal business and also paid workmanship to the men that are cutting my sticks. I used part of my money to buy six bundles of zinc for my house project.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my farm when I received this money. I was over happy to the extent that I wanted to quit the day's work. Up till now I'm happy and I'm waiting on the second transfer to start my house projects. My children school fees was the most important thing on my agenda. I didn't know how to go about getting money for them. Fortunately for me, I was successful to be part of this program.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I received this money, I have been sleeping in relaxed unlike before, I used to have sleepless nights thinking about how to raise money for my children school fees. I'm thankful to God for GiveDirectly, for giving me this amount of money that I didn't work for. At least I have paid my children tuitions and I will establish my new charcoal business soon.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The most important thing on my agenda was my children school fees. So upon receiving this money, I immediately registered my three children and also paid their school fees with about 70% of the money. My previous business collapsed about five years ago. So I'm intending to establish a new charcoal business with the balance money that I have.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If God helps me, I received this cash, I will be build my house and the balance I put in business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Since I had that accident, nothing positive has ever happen in my life that brought joy to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenges in my life are many, because I was away working in Klay Town, when my mother call me to come home, release a curse that if I don't come, when she dies, I shouldn't step there. I got scare and came home, I made a big farm, while cross cutting the sticks, one of it broke my waist bone, I was taken all around to herbalist for treatment. While on medication, I had two wives, both of them left me in the sick bush and divorce me. I came from medical attention last year. I been trying to make life suitable for me. Since I got sick, this is the third year now. I can burn coal in order to sustain myself.
