Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal in life is to start saving some money on a monthly basis through the merry go round group that I joined recently. I will later use this money to buy a motorcycle. I will be using it to provide taxi services in my locality and to ferry my farm produce to the market on time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have been able to furnish my house by making it more permanent. I have been living in a house made of mud and as a single man, I always felt bad smearing mud to make it more presentable since it is termed as the work of women in my community. I am now glad since I have been able to cement both the walls and the floor and I will no longer be a laughing stock in the village. Mobbing will be taking me less time and I will not become dirty at the course of the work.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in the next six months in that I will have bought a motorcycle. I will use the income I will get after selling my farm produce and the savings from merry go round group to purchase it. This will enable me to save more money from my daily income and use it for my home improvement purposes. After attaining this, I will start focusing on improving my farming practices and increase acreage.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to renovate and do an extension of my house. I am currently living in a mud-walled house. I am planning to plaster the walls and the floor. This will make it last longer. It will also be easier to clean and maintain the house since plastered floors don't wear out easily. I am also intending to build an extra room since I will soon start a family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I am now a proud owner of a sheep and a cow. I had always wanted to rear some farm animals but I did not have enough money to buy them. When Give Directly chose me as one of their beneficiaries, I was able to save part of the monthly transfers and bought a cow then later bought a sheep. I am glad that they look healthy growing very fast. Soon they will multiply and increase in number. I am also happy that I was able to lease a piece of land to improve my farming. My land is a bit small and now that I have some animals in it, I had to get an extra piece.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to get a bumper harvest this season. This gives me hope of having enough food for the year and also have enough bags left to sell. I also expect to have planted more beans in a small piece of land that I leased from a neighbor. Proceeds from all these will help me improve myself by doing more projects and plan for a better future.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I was able to save my monthly transfer over a period of seven months in a merry go round that I joined recently. The savings helped me to buy a dairy cow for rearing. I am glad that I bought a healthy cow that was already expectant. The cow may calf in next few months. I thank God for the double blessing. At least I have one extra asset in my name!
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I currently live in a mud-walled house. In most cases, people living in such houses are usually considered poor and this, sometimes, leads to loss of respect when you live in such conditions. Apart from that, mud-walled and floor houses also require regular maintenance which is usually hectic and time-consuming. My goal, therefore, is to ensure I build a permanent house and forget about the struggles that come with mud-walled houses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to meet my daily basic needs without much worry. I normally supplement this cash with casual jobs. This has enabled me to be a consistent saver. Previously I had nothing to save since all the wages I got from the manual jobs were spent on buying food and a few basic needs. Nowadays I can still meet all these needs and remain with something to save.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
We have a persistent water problem in our village which forces us to walk several kilometers to the nearest water point. This is usually tiresome and hectic because we end up wasting a lot of time which could otherwise be used in other meaningful activities. Therefore, once I am done with building my house, I will ensure to I build a water tank. I know once we harvest enough water during the rainy season, it would sustain us up to the next rainy season. I will now have time to work on my farm and which may lead to improved farm produce.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because I manage to buy foodstuffs that last me a whole month. Over the last four months, the money has been assisting me to buy foodstuffs in bulk which ensures that I have food throughout the month. Buying foodstuffs on a daily basis is a thing of the past. I used to rely on daily menial jobs to put food on the table and would sleep hungry on lean days where work would be hard to find. The transfers therefor have steadied my food supply and am happy to have been able to afford all my daily meals.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to invest heavily in coffee farming. I have decided to abandon maize growing because it is no longer yielding due to drought and diseases. The conditions here are favorable for the coffee crop to do well. I will be using the money I get to buy the seedlings and hire labor plant them.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Buying a heifer is the biggest difference in my life because I had not been having one. The ones I am raising are borrowed. It is very stressful to do this because the owner would come at any time and take it away. I, therefore, started saving money over the last five months and happily bought a heifer that will be calling on the next six months. I am currently happy because I see that I will be having milk both fo consumption and sale form my own livestock.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will be a milk producer from my own dairy cow. The heifer that I bought using the money I have recived will be lactating which means that I will have an extra source of income. I will be meeting my daily needs using the money that will come from the sale of milk produced.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Unlike four months ago, I am now healthier and my hygiene is also on point. I am able to buy good clothes and food for my family. I really used to struggle to put food on the table due to my low income from casual work and I would earn very little. I am glad I dress well and we also have food to eat on a daily basis.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I am planning to plaster my house. Smearing the house has been tedious especially now that I do it every month since I am single and separated with my wife 10 years ago.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I now earn a lot from the farm projects I did with the transfers. I now plant maize, vegetables, and beans for sale. Before the transfers, I did not have much money to buy farm inputs. I used to depend on casual work which would hardly feed my family. I feel very happy because I am able to cater for my family needs with the income from the sale of my farm produce.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will focus on plastering my house and also focus on building a poultry unit. With the table banking group, I joined this is going to be possible. The savings will enhance income to support me in achieving all my dreams.
