How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before, it was difficult to access money that would meet my immediate needs and there was always worry about the next day. However, ever since I received these transfers, worrying a lot has stopped because I am able to pay school fees and afford household requirements like food. This has brought joy in my home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well uplifting household livelihood by giving people money that has enabled to pay school fees, acquire land, build houses and marry wives. I don't see anything it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy building bricks, household items like utensils, clothes, and I paid children's school fees and requirements.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is peace of mind because before, there's was stress on how to manage life without money, especially sending children to school and debts.

The moment I received my money, l felt so happy because this was going to help me solve problems that needed it.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
My first transfer was spent to pay children's school fees, paid debts and bought iron sheets, a bicycle, bed-sheets for the family and utensils.

The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon after having a meal as a family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is the large number of dependants I am looking after and yet there are no resources to take proper care of them.
