What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 41000 KES of the first lumpsum in buying building materials (iron sheets, timber and nails), used 2000 KES in hospital and used the rest of the money in buying food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has improved because I already have building materials so I have the hopes of soon building a bigger house.

I am planning to us my upcoming lump-sum payment to build a new house and boost my saloon business.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy some oxen which will assist me when I am tilling my farm. Some of the transfers will be used to renovate my house and start a small business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having joined a women's support group and after saving my earnings for a while I was able to buy a few goats.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income for myself and my spouse. My spouse retired from his job ten years ago and now we rely on farming, but this is not very profitable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday when I am having my lunch together with my family and friends as we chat.
