How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Not yet, maybe after my house construction, I will have a new goal.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
They did well by sending us cash directly and is because of this cash my dream of having a befitting house, and my children having quality education is now reality. They've not giving me any reasons or fault to think they have are not doing well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought five gallons of gas for the sawing of planks, since I've already gotten myself few bundles of zinc from the first transfer, along with the few building materials I have, I added twelve packs of zinc nails with a 25kg rice for consumption.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
While cooking in the kitchen, my phone beeps, so my husband who is my trustee went to check and he saw a message saying, I've received the money Givedirectly send. With no delay, I started dancing and singing praises to God for Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Instead of paying labourers to clear the unwanted plants from my rice farm, I used to do it myself. It was very difficult and challenging for me. But now, i don't have to stress out, i will just hire people to do all the hard work. So I can relax and rest my body.

I will buy three and half bundle of zinc to construct a house, pay my three kids balance tuitions. When i received the second transfer, I will used the money to buy one sheep to start my own livestock business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the GiveDirectly Cash transfer, I intend to build my own house. The house that I'm living in is not my own house,it is my husband uncle's house and he's insisting that I leave the house.More besides the room that my household and I occupied is not large enough to contain all of our belongings, for this reason I have to give some of my belongings to my neighbor to keep. Eventhough I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is what I use to cater to my family. I want to build my own house but there's no money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what has brought me joy or happiness is when my sister gives me lappas that cost 2000.00 Liberian Dollars two weeks ago.I was happy for what she did for me because I didn't have money to buy lappas. The same lappas that I use for farming it is the same lappas that I use for service, so the fact that my sister gives me an expensive lappa to use for service brought me so much joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest headship facing me currently is the lack of money to build my own house. The house that I'm living in is not my own house, but rather my husband uncle's house and he insisting that I leave his house because he wants to recondition his house and I'm not satisfied with this kind of condition I'm in .Even though I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is not enough to buy building materials to start a construction of my own house.I want to build my own house but there's no money, therefore any assistance provided to me by GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood will be highly appreciated.
