Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now resting from casual labor because I got Give Directly funds for basic needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change because I intend to start a small grocery business for getting proceeds for meeting daily basic needs.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different because I do not chase after casual work to get little funds. We will also buy building materials at once as opposed to buying one by one which would have been the case had we not received Give Directly funds. We also own a cow now which we would not have bought had I not received the transfer.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to build a new kitchen because the one we have is thatched and leaky. I will use part of the next transfer for building the kitchen.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening after the days work and seeing my family happy puts a smile on my face.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on improving my house. Since my husband will build a new house, I will buy sofa sets and other household needs.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
When I came here in June last year, my husband had not build a house. I assisted him to build a new house house and I am proud of that. l mobilized other village members to assist in bringing building materials and other requirements and that made me proud and I am greatful to God for that.
