How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My whole life, I have never had the opportunity or chance of ever having this much money at once. I had no house or land. With this money I have managed to get land, build a home and to start a business for a steady income. I ama extremely grateful to GD for the transfers given to me. Seeing some of my dreams come true this way has opened my ability to dream even bigger. I plan to build another house when I get the opportunity in future. I have even bigger dreams now since Give Directly has shown me my dreams are within reach.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I do not see any wrong that Give Directly may have done. Give Directly has opened doors for us. We had no way of ever achieving our dream of having a nice house and a business. Give Directly is truly changing lives.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my transfer on an existing business, on finishing up my house and on food.
