What did you spend your second transfer on?
My objective was to build a house i have bought 8000 bricks at 800,000, 2 trips of sand at 140,000, 20 iron sheets at 560,000, 12 Kgs of nails at 65,000, Ventilators at 16,000, paid the builder 500,000, 12 bags of cement at 360,000, i paid 200,000 for transportation of bricks and iron bars at 120,000. the other money will cater for the unseen demands as of now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
We were doing badly but now we are developed. i request you to add us more because you are making our lives better but we are so appreciative.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My heart is happy because om shifting from bad poor life, am now counted among people who own homes.

The biggest hardship I faced in my life was when thieves broke my house down in attempt to murder me.

The happiest part of my day Is in the morning when we wake up healthy and on good terms with my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
To me, receiving this money means becoming independent as I plan on buying my own land and constructing a house for my family so that we can vacate my parent's house.
