What does receiving this money mean to you?
"When I receive the money, I plan to send my children to school. I was born in and raised in poverty. I don't wish the same fate for my kids. When our kids are educated, they'll transform the family. Next, I will invest into dry fish business. Fish business is profitable in Norbor town. Investing into fish business will help me to multiply the money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The birth of my son brought me the greatest happiness in the past six months. When I was pregnant, I was worried about complications since there's no hospital in Norbor town. I had to make weekly travels to Mecca to be able to receive medical care. On August 22, 2021, I safely gave birth to a baby boy without any complications and that brought me great joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The primary challenge that my family is currently faced with is to gather enough food for the family. My husband has two wives. He is not employed. We live primarily on subsistence farming. Produce from the farm are shared between his two homes. As a result, we can barely get enough food for our home.
