How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

Had I not received the cash transfers, I would be very depressed and worried without any financial support to feed and take care of my family. I would not be able to construct a house if GiveDirectly had not sent me the cash transfer. My life is so much better now and very grateful for the cash transfers.

In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to give us cash transfers that have helped most families that were really poor. However, there is no wrong doing that I can point out about GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your second transfer on?

I spent my second transfer to purchase cement, sand for plastering my house. I also bought some household items and clothing for my household. I also spent some money on my child's treatment. I have a balance of UGX200,000 that I have saved incase of any emergencies.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I'm now building a good house for my family because the one I'm sleeping in links when it rains heavily.
