How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Own a diary cow at my age is the biggest difference in my daily ever since I received my transfer from GiveDirectly. I had been reling on my children for my basic needs an habit that had been so demanding for them since they also have their family needs to take care of. I am glad that currently I no longer wait for them to send me money for the basic needs instead I have milk for both households consumption and sales to cater for other needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done an amazing job in our community. I thank them and urge them to continue supporting the needy.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the part of the transfer to buy a cow. I decided to buy a cow so that I can rely on it both on milk for household consption and sales. I am growing old thus I kept some money for my daily household use and basic needs. I am happy that GiveDirectly made me independent.
