How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want to take this time to appreciate the founder of Givedirectly Organization for the brilliant idea to eradicate poverty in Liberia. I am currently living in a midshift house in this village. Since I started receiving transfers from Giedirectly, I made a planned to build new house. The new goal I set before receiving this transfer is to buy cement bags to continue with my building process. I have decided to concrete cements house to relocate. Thanks to Givedirectly for the good jobs carried out. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, few months from now, I will own a decent house in this village.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is one of the best and transparent organizations in Liberia. Givedirectly as an Organization staffs do not accept Gifts from communities and doesnot make false promises. Thanks to Givedirectly for living by her commitment to help the poor. Givedirectly Organization will forever be remembered for her good jobs implemented in Rivecess county. There is no system in Givedirectly style of worked the needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to buy 20 bags of white cements to continue with my building process. My house is almost at Window level. I am currently building three bed rooms concrete cements house with shop attach andtwo inside bathrooms. I am grateful to Givedirectly for selecting our community to implement her project. I believe that with my transfer Givedirectly , few months from now, my dreamed to live in a decent house will soon come to pass.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Prior to GiveDirectly entry in my town, my husband and I were buying and selling. He buys coco and take it to Monrovia to sell, and as for me, I sell petty business from one town to another. With the little amount we get from what we sell, we use portion for food and portion to solve other household problems. I was so happy when I received my transfer,it was like a dream to me because for someone to give such an amount of money free, it must be God. At least with this money we are going to built our house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this transfer has in my life now is that, I was able to buy cement bags that I am going to use to build my own house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my transfer to buy cement. With the cement, I will fix block to build my own house. At current, I am still in my Grandma house. Although my grandma isn't pressuring me to leave, but it is good to have my own roof over my head that which my children can inherite when I'm no more.
