How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to improve my house by removing the thatch and replacing it with Zinc.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my mind GiveDirectly is doing well for me because they are helping me with money to improve my house by removing the thatch and replacing it with Zinc and I also bought Mattress to sleep on. As for me I have not notice anything that GiveDirectly is not doing well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my recent transfer to buy Zinc and Mattress to sleep on.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I'm David Menyon from Juludoe town and I lived with my two children and wife. I was in bed when I heard my neighbour shouting that GD has sent them a transfer. After hearing this great news I was encouraged to check my message inbox to see if I was among the lucky ones. As soon as clicked on the message, I saw the transfer. However, at that moment I felt very happy because I needed money to build a house for my family but I had no money to undertake the project.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before I started receiving my transfer, I have been farming to sustain my family and it has not been easy when it comes to housing. We don't sleep during the rainy season because of the leakage on the roof of the house but now I feel good because I have been empowered to build a new house for my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought bundles of zinc and a mattress with my transfer.

What is the happiest part of your day?
" I have not had any happy moment in the past six months because my house is leaking and I don't have money to change my house roof".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" The house my family live in have a thatch roof and we are in the raining season. The house is leaking badly and I don't have money to change the roof. Therefore, the challenge I am facing currently is lack of good shelter".
