Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I'm very optimistic that soon I will be shifting from a leaking thatched house to a permanent house because I was able to purchase building materials. Secondly, I can afford to provide food for my family. Prior to this transfer, I could not afford to build a permanent house and food for my family all the time.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received money, I felt very happy because I got money for buying building materials and food. My standards of living are has changed because I can afford to buy food and I'm building a permanent house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought building materials ( 2 trips of bricks, 1 trip of sand, 10 iron sheets) worth UGX 700,000, paid labour worth UGX 300,000, bought food worth UGX 80,000 and bought clothing/ household goods worth UGX 10,000. There is a balance of 500,000 which I'm planning to spend on purchasing building materials. However, the recipient could not remember other items bought and amount spent.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means acquiring land for farm land and Oxen that will support in opening it up. That will be my source of livelihood because, I will cultivate crops for both food and sale. I own one acre of farm law that I am cultivating on with my son who has married.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is after work because all my family members will be a round discussing how th day went and what plans to have for tomorrow. I have a big family of ten and every day that goes by, you have to plan on how to meet daily needs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is food shortage due to limited land to cultivate. I own one acre I feel land which is divided between me and my son. I can not produce enough food because the plot to cultivate Iimited and can not support me and my household.
