What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on ploughing my land since it was a period that everybody else needed to plough their lands. In most instances, my late spouse would help me till the lands we had but since his death, I could no longer do manual tilling as before. I therefore had to shift to ploughing using trucks which could only take place with enough cash in hands, otherwise I would not manage.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my transfer, I felt so happy because the transfer would help me plough my piece of land which had been left idle despite being so fertile.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is that, I have not been able to plough my farms, due to inadequate income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I'm relaxing at home, while my children are preparing supper.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm very excited about it, because firstly, I plan to pay school fees for my child in secondary school, using part of the money. I also plan to use another part to plough my two farms for food security. Finally, I plan to build a toilet with the remaining amount.
