What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a cow at 830,000 ugx and I hired two gardens at 450,000 ugx. I also bought groundnut seeds at 100,000 ugx and I bought beans at 50,000 ugx. The balance of the cash transfer I spent on buying medicine worth 62,000 ugx and the balance on buying other household items.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion I am happy because my life was very difficult, however I am grateful that give directly gave me money that enabled me buy a motorcycle and for my treatment. On the other hand I cannot tell lies about what give directly has not done well because give directly has only done good things for the people .
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am so happy that my life changed alot and there is a very big difference in my life compared to my life before. I would not have acquired the property and gardens that I own now. My life would have been too miserable and very hard indeed. However I am now very sure that the motorcycle I bought will generate income for the family.
