Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
In Duoh's town, while I was in my room lying down due to illness, I received mobile money transfer from GiveDirectly and started feeling better right away. I ran quickly to the nearby mobile money center and withdrew portion of my money to register my three (3) children in Christian Foundation School for this year academic 2021/2022. The balance money will be used to buy door, cement and sand to complete my new house. I am really pleased and honored to be part of this project which has change my life in a positive way.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am able to register my three children in school without having to work on the farm or sell in the market due to my recent illness. I will also be able to complete my house by purchasing door, cement and sand with the remaining portion of my mobile money despite not being able to work and earn money as usual because of my recently poor health. I am much more grateful to God and GiveDirectly for this golden opportunity that has positively affected me and my family. These has been the biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been ill and home for almost a month before receiving my mobile money transfer. I did not have any means of generating income to register my children in school for this academic year 2021/2022. In doing so, as soon as I withdrew portion of my mobile money transfer from GiveDirectly, I immediately registered my three children in Christian Foundation School located behind Blojay Law building in Duoh town.
