How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is very different now that i have received this transfer. I learnt how to build and have building skills but did not have the tools which made me to forgo building jobs. When the second transfer came i bought all the building tools such as level, tape and others. Now i am busy building houses and i have already made K150,000 from such jobs. Now i can afford 3 meals a day unlike before when i could only have one meal. I have also bought a big solar, satellite dish and plasma TV, and my family is enjoying watching TV while i also enjoy watching live soccer matches.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well in providing free cash which has tremendously improved our livelihoods. As to what GiveDirectly does not do well, i cannot think of any. Thank you for the support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy 2 bags of fertilizer and pay carpenters who are fixing the roofing of my new house with iron sheets. I also bought building tools as i am skilled in building. I did not have the building tools before and this made me forgo many building jobs. Now i have the tools and as i am talking now, i am construction a house, and making money. Thank you so much.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I get to receive this money it will help me to mold bricks and build a much better house so that I should have a decent house to live in. The money will also help me to purchase enough fertilizers and food for my household
What is the happiest part of your day?
I like it when I play soccer. I become very happy
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have always wanted to build an iron sheet roofed house but it has not been possible due to lack of money for such a project
