How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am happy because the cash transfers enabled me to finance my marriage and wedding, which were a success. Had I not received the cash transfers, I would not have been able to finance my wedding and even complete my house. I would have incurred many debts had I not received the cash transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to support people with cash transfers that have enabled them accomplish their plans. However there is nothing wrong that I can say that is connected to GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing construction materials worth UGX600,000. I spent UGX800,000 to pay my marriage and wedding preparations. I have a balance of UGX200,000 that I intend to spend on plastering my house.
