How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My primary objective at the moment is to complete my house project. However, I could not achieve my goals due to limited finances. Fortunately, I received my recent transfer from GiveDirectly. Portion of this amount will be used to complete my house project. Furthermore, my balance transfer will be used to purchase enough food for my home. GiveDirectly has become a huge blessing to me and my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has been doing quite well with the entire program. Every aspect of this program is so unique and incomparable to other NGOs I have known over the years. I consider it a privilege to be part of this project. My life has finally changed and I see nothing that GiveDirectly is doing wrongly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I needed to complete my house project and move in with my family. Moreover, I also needed to buy enough food for my home. Therefore, I used portion of my recent transfer to buy zinc ($15,000LD) to roof my house. Likewise, part of my transfer was also used to purchase enough food for my household. My balance money was used as transportation. I am so fortunate to have benefited from this program.
