What did you spend your third transfer on?
By the time I received my third transfer I didn't have any seat in my house except for some old seats that I bought some years back so I bought two sets of chairs and a table. I also used to store my utensils in a carton box because I didn't have anywhere to store them so I bought a cupboard where I'm currently storing my utensils. I bought a three bulb solar panel that helps in lighting. I bought it because I had a tin a lamp which was risky because at times it could explode and it was expensive too in term of paraffin consumption.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used a portion of my second transfer to buy 33 iron sheets, timber, 60 kilo grams of nails and fascia board which I have used to build a new three roomed house because I was living in a very small house. I bought two goats with purpose of rearing and later selling them to get school fees or my children, I paid laborers who were building my house. The remaining amount, I spent to pay my hospital bills and also to buy clothes and shoes for my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well in keeping their promise of sending us money like they promised and also they sent money directly to us without involving any third party. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the money, I would not have built a three roomed house which has always been like a dream to me and also I would not have bought the two goats which I have right now.
