Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am so happy and well fed now; this is the biggest difference in my life. I am optimistic for better things ahead because prior to receiving the transfer things were tough for us because we had small land and now we have some more space courtesy of Give Directly.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy to receive the transfer that Give Directly sent me. I had never received such funds and I would like to say thank you because the funds have really helped us.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent Give Directly transfer as follows : 40000 KES to buy a tenth of an acre, 10000 KES on iron sheets, 500 KES nails to build a house and the balance on food.

I feel very excited that I will be receiving such an amount of money.I am planning to buy a dairy cow which will provide us with milk to sell as well as to drink at home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon.This is the time I get to enjoy lunch with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is struggling to feed my children.We live in a piece of land which is not only small but also not fertile.We do not get enough food to feed the children or even rare cattle.
