Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Upon receiving the transfer fro GiveDirectly, I really became so happy and a thought of buying a piece of land came into our mind. We had to celebrate and feel good about it since it was a dream come true.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I received the transfer is the fact that we are now having a piece of land, big enough for our farming purposes and also a space for construction of a new house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money I received from GiveDirectly on buying a piece of land. The preexisting piece of land was really too small and we needed an extra piece for the purpose of constructing a new house. Currently we have paid part of it and comes th second transfers we will complete the payment so that w can start the construction.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
We would like to purchase a dairy cow for rearing. This will ensure an income for us through milk sales. It will also help reduce the expenses that we have had to incur daily in buying milk for our young child. This money will help us achieve this. With the remaining amount,we intend to build a better house for our family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is mid morning to afternoon.I mostly spend this time working in my vegetable garden.Having my mind occupied with this work helps wear off the challenges that are often present in this area
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I had hoped to further my education after secondary school.Even though I did well,I have not been able to raise money to enroll in a college course. My spouse works as a security officer while I take care of the children at home. This means that every expense in the household depends on his little salary.Lack of money for school fees has been the biggest hardship I have faced
