Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Before receiving the transfers, I could not buy assets for my family. I did not even have any hope but I thank God for GiveDirectly because the money they sent me has enabled me acquire two cows. I feel I am a class a part from those who do not have cows.

I used UGX 200,000 for making and burning bricks. I spent UGX 200,000 and UGX 100,000 for buying clothes and pigs respectively.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to buy oxen and ox-plough for ploughing. Iam currently struggling to borrowing hired labour for cutlivation. This always slowed down planting period and has resulted to low harvests in my household. I will be carry out earlier ploughing and thus plant ing after owning oxen. This will help in catching up with earlier rains, which may lead to increase crop production. These produce I will be selling some to raise money for Educating my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is evening hours. Iam most of ths time thicking from home now to realise development at my home. My best times is when Iam at kotoikot trading centre relaxing with friends. We share development ideas which have helped me remain hopeful in life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of enough money to enable me fulfill my plans. I have felt like owning oxen and ox-plough to faciltate large scale crop cultivation for increased production. This has never been possible due to lack of money so I realise little crop produce each season. This can not support my family needs like paying school fees timely, and providing basic basic requirements.
