What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning cows as an investment to the household which will improve household status. For a mean time, I will be able to hire oxen to plough land in order to facilitate early planting and better yields. I will be able to pay school fees in time which will enable my children attend classes fully hence better results.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I have just woken up in good health. I am happy because I am able to support my household in doing some household activities which at the end translate to income.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is inadequate income at household level. I am sickly and the little money that I earn through farming will be spent on treatment leaving the household with no funds in case of any emergency. I can not pay echo fees for my children because what ever we had is spent on treatment leading to poor grades.
