How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Apart from my house in Radio Village, I want to build a 3 bedroom apartment in Yarpah Town. Hence, when I received my transfer, I purchased I bundle of zinc (32 gauge). This zinc was added on the 2 bundles of zinc that was purchased with portion of my previous transfer. I also used the remaining money to buy 1 carton of nails for roofing. I am so delighted to be able to build my own house from this grant given me by GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my own judgement, GiveDirectly is doing everything so well and I don't see anything that they are not doing right. I am privileged to be part of this life changing opportunity initiated by GD.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
First of all I want to say a very big thank you for coming. My plan is been long since but the means of getting money to get this plan work is my worry. I plan that when I get this money I will move to the city road where we will have access to good schools and the hospitals.I want to build a house for my family to move because of the distance I travel and also my children to get to school. So; this money will reduce the distances and difficulties we travel just to get to the hospital or market. I want to experience city life with my family,I am tired with the bush life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past months I had a sale of few tin of oil that I took town and sold, the out come was very good. Another was just this few days I was call by my boss who told me that he wants to contedt this upcoming 2023 election and want me to serve as district coordinator. The next happy news is Give Directly visit to Radio village today not only that but my house, given me the chance to be part of the program.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current and greatest challenge is that I am financially depressed and don't know what to do. But I am still hopeful that one day it will be better. I am glad today that Give Directly is here and is going to make it better for me. All I ever hoped for was this day and such opportunity,Money is the strength to all ;if you don't have money you can't do what is best that is the reason I am still here with my family. But this money will be a life changing story for me and my family will start a new life, my children will not have to walk hours just to go to school.
