How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago in that I have managed to save more money than I could save without their assistance. I am planning to use the savings to construct a house by December. I badly want to have my own house because living in rental houses is very expensive. By owning my own house I will be relieved from the burden of raising monthly house rent.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My main goal currently is to ensure that I raise enough money so that I construct a house. My target is to ensure I have a complete house by December. This will save me from the cost of paying for monthly house and I'll, therefore, spend the money meant for rent on meeting other household needs and even start other income-generating activities.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been saving my transfers for the last four months with the aim of using it to construct a house. Currently, I do not have a house thus I'm forced to stay in a rental house. It's usually very costly staying in a rental house especially when one doesn't have a stable source of income. I'm happy and proud I have saved a good amount of money and I'm hopeful that by December this year I'll have constructed my house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I'm hopeful that I'll have constructed a house. Thereafter I'll use the money which I'm currently spending on rent on developing myself. Currently, I lack most of the household items and I'm planning to purchase them using the money I'm currently spending on house rent. Later I will start a business that will sustain me even after Give Directly have finished their program in this village

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I now have a new high density mattress which I never had before when I used to sleep on a mat on the floor. This is a big change in my life right now. Moreover, I now find it so easy to buy more than enough food because I have enough cash at my disposal due to the cash transfers I get from GD.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a goal of buying a new sofa-set that will be of great importance to me and my visitors. You see right now I do not have any seat in my house so whenever I get visitors, the only place they can sit on is right on the floor, which is not a very good thing.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
This money has helped to purchase certain items that I have desired to have in my life but I have never been able to have them due to lack of cash. For instance, I have even able to buy a new bed and a new mattress, shoes and new house seats.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have bought the new sofa-set which will be of great importance for me and my visitors. Right now my visitors either seat down on the floor or alternatively seat on a water jerrycan which is so embarrassing to me.
