How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm very happy though a widow, my heart is so relaxed as compared to the olden days. In a few weeks people will marvel at the wonderful face of my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does well in everything, the customer care team on the hotline is very humble and so welcoming. I have personally not had any problems with the organization.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I haven't spent all my transfers but I'm planning to spend it on School fess for my grand children, Blustering my house, Buy gravel for cementing my house, Buy a solar kit, some household items, Pay for labor and plan for a sustainable business using some of the money.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will enable my family to purchase land which we shall use for agriculture and also construct a house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i complete my days' work and sit with my grand children as they recite what they have learnt from school and also dance for me as we listen to music on our small radio.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced is bringing up my children since my husband died. Feeding has been hard because i dont have enough land for cultivating food.
