How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: We are farmers here, my household and i normally survived by the products of the farm that we harvest and sell to purchase those things we need. My newest and biggest goal right now is to construct my own house which will be much more bigger and comfortable for my family and i.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE:Givedirectly have not done anything wrong since their entry in our community. Givedirectly workers are very different from other NGOs workers in terms of talking and listening to people. I consider them(employees) very trained and decent. They smile with you while talking to you even when you are asking plenty questions, and they never gets tired answering our questions
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: We are going to use this present transfer to paid for the planks and workmanship of the workers am going to hirer to construct the house. With this, I am overly grateful to givedirectly family for this help and the level of work done by givedirectly people, their extreme efforts in reaching us.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, I do not have any new goal. I am continuing with my same goal of constructing a new house for my family and I. It has been really our most dream to live in a modern house than the one we are in currently. The current house we live in is made of thatch roof and earth floor that's leaks too much. But this most recent transfer has empower me enough to construct a comfortable one that will be made of zinc and a cement floor.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD is doing well in the act of transferring money directly to us through our mobile money account. This gives absolute control and allowed us to decide how we intend spending this money. I find this process very interesting and different because others organisations' programmes make decisions on our behalf. But with GiveDirectly, it is a whole new way of caring for us (the poor). We received money directly through our mobile money account and decide how to use it. However, I have not seen or experience any thing that is not well from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought zinc, gas for the sawing of planks, paid for the labour for the cutting of sticks and the sawing of my planks to start the construction of a new house. My family and I have suffered too long living under a leaking roof and a cold house. I live in this us with my six living children and husband. But this transfer received will change our story of living under an improve roof made of zinc and a floor made of cement.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I never had any goal before receiving Give Directly money. All of my focus had been how to feed my children and send them to school but things got very hard to the extend the I had to focus on the feeding aspect. I had to make farm and lay baskets to feed my family. Things was very tough when Give Directly enrolled me on the program but later, things became very easy. When I received my first transfer from Give Directly, I decided to pay my children school fees and and buy enough food for the family. More to that, I have also decided to build my own house and start a business with the remaining transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is helping us hugely with the cash transfer program. However, our distances are very far from cashing point. Most especially, when we cover that long distance and MTN agent says no cash or system down, it discourages us. Hence, I am kindly appealing to Give Directly to link with MTN to at least bring their service at a prefer and accessible location with recipients listen and amount as per allotment

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want to sell, I am suffering because of money my two children drop off from school. I really want to complete my house also, this house you see me in today I want to buy a front door because I am almost sleeping outside. When the rain season come and the storms starts to rage is like the breeze wants to put me out of the house, this house you see I sold basket and make farm to build this house, up to now it not yet complete. The roof is thatches as you can see, when this money land on my mobile number I will divide it into three portions:1.For my children school because education is light 2.For the completion of my house 3.The balance is for me to sell something that will give me money for my entire life to change. Today if these children learn they can come back and take me to the city, And you people will be the reason for that good work.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiness is not big just the work of my farm and seeing how the rice is growing rich makes me happy. Do you know what it is to spend money in making a big farm after all the money I spend then every thing spoil, you will not be happy but I am happy because my harvest will be good and my efforts and time will not go free in the breeze. Now if you visit my farm you yourself will smile, because the rice is really rich.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The hard time is plenty but the main one is the farming work. I am here alone with my grand child. But when farming time comes I have to set basket and save money for some period of time to hired the football team cooked for them to keep them doing active and good work. Time to sow is another money spending and every stage of the farming is difficult and very challenging. I am really tired of farm work but what can I do now, continue until I get this money then all my struggle will end. The problem I am faced with now will reduce small because of the money you people will give me.
