How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have be sharing a house with my parents for quiet sometime now and honestly it was not good enough. The desire to build a house I had but I did not have resources. With the cash gift I was able to build a house of my own house

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received my transfer i was very happy and the first thing i was happy about was i will now have enough food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I never had enough food for my family, the only means of finding food was through piece works. I could not do my own activities because i spent most of my time doing piece work to find food. when i received my transfer i bought enough food for my family and i have stopped doing piece works as i have food and i am concentrating on my own activities now.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received my transfer i bought food because we did not have food at home and the only means of finding food was piece works. the remaining money i bought iron sheets because am planning to build a house when i receive the second transfer. I also bought clothes , blankets, fertilizer and other basic needs.

The happiest part of the day is during noon hours because that's when I get to eat my first meal of the day.

The biggest hardship is finding food and a nice place to sleep.
