How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
When I receive my first transfer from Givedirectly I was pregnant. Upon receiving the transfer, I got in delivery pain and I was taken to the hospital to give birth. Unfortunately for me, I was operated on because of complications in giving birth by myself. I was able to pay for my hospital bills through my first transfer because I had no money of my own before than. When I received my recent transfer, my new goal have been to invest into business. Through this means, I will be able to generate more money for the future and build a house of my own because I am living in my husband's family house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion about what is not done well by GiveDirectly, I don't really know if GiveDirectly have done anything wrong. I believe that GiveDirectly have done so much well by reaching out to every deserving households in the town and determining their eligibility during the enrolment process. Moreover, I am so much happy and thankful to GiveDirectly because of the transfer because I couldn't afford to earn such amount of money ever in my life.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
For the passed years I have been living in my father-in-law house along with my husband and I. My husband and I have not been able to build ourselves a house because of our financial strength. Due to this reason, I have not been able to use my recent transfer. I have planned to save my transfer to buy more goods for my table market business. Through this means I will be able to sustain myself and my family also in the future with the money that will be earned from my business.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at my house sleeping when my phone alarmed. I quickly call my uncle who is educated to help read my massage. I was very happy to heard such great news.

The biggest difference in lives since I got on the Givedirectly problem, I am happy and my stress level has reduced. My new born baby is blessed because I used some of the money I received from Givedirectly to buy his milk. My life will get better my appreciation to Givedirectly for coming to my life

With the first transfer I received from Givedirectly, I will used some part of it start a new business at my house. The balance money will be used to buy my baby material with some food stuff.
