How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different how it was before i received the transfer in that I am able to get enough produce from my farm and to the community and get money for my family up keep which was not the case before because I could not get enough because of lack of enough water.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion give directly is a very transparent organisation because their way of operation was very transparent and without any corruption. It also a good think that money was being seng directly to our empesa account without involving the authorities.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the whole of the transfer on farmimg where by i spent the money to buy generator. Where I am staying is very dry and there is also law rainfall, that farming has is not doing well. I thought of the idea of buying generator because it will help me water my farm and for sure since I bought the generator has become the sweetest thing to do because I am getting enough produce as compared to before. Having bought generator has also encouraged me so much that I have involved myself in vegetable farming which is doing very well because I am able to get enough produce from the farm and sell them out to retailers to selling them in the market. Since I bought the generator my life has reached because I am getting enough money from farming to catter for my family needs.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I ate well and I feel stronger because I change my diet and get satisfied .
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I felt at peace because I knew that I would accomplish my goals.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent part of my transfer on building my house because I had a small one and paid workers who used a tractor to prepare my parcel of land which had been fallow for a long time due to lack of money to prepare it. Part of the money went on fencing my compound to look decent. The remaining amount went on food that I eat to date.
