Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I'm feeling much relaxed because most of my problems have been solved financially .I'm going to have my own house soon. A house that my children will live in and no one will have to talk bad about them for house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received this money. Because as a young person, I have been struggling with family just to have a decent living place for them. I thought about building my own house to live when I have money. The house I'm currently residing in is not mine and I'm not comfortable of being in someone else's house for my entire life.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" Our current challenge as a family is the access to cash. I'm not fully educated, as a result of this, my family and I make ends meet through physical work. I'm mostly involved into subsistence farming and occasionally, I do pit sawing as a daily hire. Many at times getting food for my family is really challenging."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" In the last 6 months, my greatest joy has been the wellness of my children. Since the start of this year, neither my wife nor my kids have ever experienced any form of major illness. Whenever I see my family well, it brings me great joy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
" If I'm opportune to receive this cash transfer, my wife and I will establish a business to enable us send our kids to school. Due to the lack of junior or senior high school in our village, I was unable to complete high school. The ramifications of this has a far reaching effect on my family and I. As a result of this, I want to educate my kids so that when I'm old they can be able to catered for me."
