In the next six months, I will have established a tea nursery . I intend to plant them on my farm. This has been informed by the construction of a factory in a nearby village. The factory has now been completed and is already processing tea. I want to be part of the people supplying the crop in order to also benefit. In the next six months, I will be having tea seedlings already in the next six months.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have cleared all the fee balances for my two children who are at a nearby private primary school. Accordingly, I am more confident that they have ample time for studying. This makes me happy as a parent because I used to feel embarrassed when my children were sent home to fetch arrears.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy hybrid seed and fertilizers to use on my farm. I have experience in farming where I have used improved farming methods such as fertilizers and hybrid seeds which have given me a good harvest to help me sustain my family needs by selling a surplus harvest to raise money for other financial needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I spent part of my transfer to purchase iron sheets and other building materials. We have been living in a leaking grass thatched house for a while now. My dream of building another one went into vain because of lack of money. All the money I got from selling little milk from my dairy cow usually goes to paying school fees for my children and buying food. I also purchased maize using some part of the transfer.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to be much better. This is because I will be enjoying higher income from the sale of the farm products (potatoes and cabbages) that I will have planted and harvested from the leased farm. Besides, I will have completed planting tea in my farm. Thus, I will be more confident with regards to supporting my children as they pursue their studies. I will be having reliable sources of sufficient funds to be used in paying school fees and financing other necessary projects.
