How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have been suffering if I did not receive theae transfers. My life would have been in the same poor state that I was. Now I am very happy because I know that buy the end of this year I will have a good and safe house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
This organisation did a very good job in our area. We were living in poverty but now we have been rescued thanks to GiveDirectly. I am very thankful because I have never came across an organisation that givea people unconditional transfers.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy bricks so that I can build a house. I also saved some of the monwy so that I can pay the builders . I plan on building my house after the rainy season is over that is why I am keeping the money.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means alot to me and my household..I will use the money to build a new house with ironsheets and cemented floor... I will also use the money to buy enough food for me and my children..
What is the happiest part of your day?
Im always happy whenever I have had lunch with my children..
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship has been that of lack of income which lead to not having enough food for the entire household..This was so because the money we made after selling was so little hence creating challenges..
