How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have bought building materials (iron sheets and bricks). I intend to construct a permanent house in the plot of land I acquired with the first transfer. Previously, I was not at peace staying home because my brothers were not happy with my return from marriage due to land issues.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well to give financial support that has enabled me buy materials for constructing an iron roofed house. GiveDirectly has only been good to me.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second on purchasing 20 pieces of iron sheets at UGX 560,000 and bricks at UGX 780,000 that I'm going to use for constructing a permanent house. I hired an acre of land at UGX 120,000 and bought G nut seed at UGX 75,0000. The balance of the money I spent on buying food and paying for transport.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
the biggest difference in my daily life is that, my self esteem has been elevated because I am moving towards an independent life other than depending on parents. Before I received my first cash transfer, I used to stay under the care and provision of my parents.

The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt happy because I had never held such a big a mount of money and besides, my plan of buying a plot of land had been fulfilled.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money from Gicedirectly means i will be able to construct a house for myself since currently i am sleeping in my brothers house. I also want to buy some household items like beddings.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon because in most cases its hot in the afternoon and being an Athmatic person i dont get attacks that time.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Her biggest challenge right now is the Athma attack that she always gets which some times make her fail to perform her tasks.
