How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goals were to pay my 9 grade WAEC fees and complete the payment of my balance tuition, which I did. My school fees before had been paid by my parents. They are farmers. The responsibilities of supporting me and my three siblings had not been an easy thing for them. I am grateful to GiveDirectly for enrolling me into their program. The transfers received have really done well for me and my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The good things that GD has done is to give me money directly. I am so much thankful for this opportunity. It's something that I have never been a part of. Receiving cash transfers, phone and Sim card from GiveDirectly is something very well that this organisation is doing for us the poor and I have not seen any unwell things that GD is doing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer on WAEC fees and paid my balance tuition with the remaining. It has really been my worry. But a big thanks to GiveDirectly for reaching our village and enrolling me into their cash transfer program. I am so much grateful for this opportunity. It has eased the burden on my parents.
