How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No! My old goal was to build a new house. My house is old. The walls are made out of mud. It was dubbed. It is old. The muds have falling off from most parts. The roof is tarsh. During the rainy season its like we're outside. The house leaks so bad. I had been wanting to build a new one. Due to low income, I have not been able to do so. I am so grateful that I got enrolled in this program. My life will now change for the better.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly is not doing anything wrong. It's program is an amazing opportunity to change our lives. I am just so grateful for this program. I am excited that I got enrolled in this program. Hopefully after this program our lives will get better.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My life has been so difficult. Things have not been going well for me. I thank God that GiveDirectly came to my town. I was so excited when I received my transfer. I used some of my money to buy zinc. I also paid the rest of my daughter's tuition and bought a bag of rice. I saved rest of the money. I will use it to pay the contractors that will build my house. I'm hopeful that after this program my life will improve for the best
