How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now get milk from the cow I bought with the Give Directly money. I also have my own oxen and ox-plough which will facilitate me to plough in time.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to allow us use the transfer as we wanted since its people who understand their problems better. There is nothing they are not doing well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchase of live stock at UGX 1,000,000, and mattresses at UGX 263,000. I paid a debt of UGX 370,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I will be having timely and proper harvest than before when I used to cultivate late and have poor produce.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt extremely happy that my family and I decided not to go work.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I plan to spend my first transfer on buying an ox plough and a bull.This will help me in a large scale cultivation as it will enable me to sustain my family in the future. I will then use the balance to feed, dress and also educate my children.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Iam a farmer and my problem is the inputs. So with receiving this money, i will buy some oxen and ox-plough to boost my agricultural practices.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When my agricultural yields are high because i will be sure am going to get money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have ever encounterd a hardship of financial constraints when my children needed treatment and education.
