How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I have a peace of mind compared to before when I couldn't afford to take children to school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well uplifting people's livelihood by giving them money to build iron sheet roofed houses; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.

I spent my second transfer to pay school fees for the children, buy a cow, and food.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I'm now happy because I can pay school fess of my children not like before when it was very hard for me to pay fees.

I have spent my first transfer to pay school fees for my 2 children at 200,000ugx,bought household goods (mattress at 150,000ugx ,bed sheets at 20,000ugx, blanket at 10,000ugx,curtain at 7000ugx utensils at 18,000ugx,bought clothes at 31,000ugx,solar at 140,000ugx .The balance of the money 1,124,000ugx I plan to deposit for a plot of land.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When i receive this money, i will buy a plot where i will want to permanently relocate my children and also part of the money will help me sort school dues for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my life is when i get money and manage to pay school fees for my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is the issue of school fees for my children. I have limited land for cultivating which hinders the outputs hence causing low income.
